If this were happening in another country, our media stars would see it. They wouldn’t claim Trump’s goals and plans are an unpredictable mystery, like Politico did last week. And they wouldn’t be saying “Oh, he said ‘peacefully’ that one time,” like it meant anything. And they’d be congratulating themselves on their courage. But since it’s happening here, they congratulate themselves on having the courage NOT to call it out.
Trump is not “running for president” in any recognizable way. He’s continuing Jan. 6, which has never really ended.
Totally agree on idea that Jan. 6 never really ended -- I don't think you can really understand/properly discuss the state of American politics without this basic fact being in the mix. I like to say that Trump is running an insurrection, not a presidential campaign.
